Hartford 2023 Voter Guide

General Election: Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

Register to vote online, by mail, or at the Registrar of Voters (550 Main Street) up to 7 days before the election. You can register on the day of the election at 550 Main Street, Ground Floor Room 002, between 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Vote in person: Confirm your polling place online or by calling the Registrar of Voters: 860-757-9830. Know your rights by reviewing the Voter’s Bill of Rights. If you need a free ride to vote in Bridgeport, Hartford, or New Haven, email FaithActs.

Vote by mail or drop box: See below for this year’s absentee ballot rules. If you have questions, call the City Clerk: 860- 757-9750.

Absentee ballots must be received by the Town & City Clerk no later than 8:00 PM the day of the election, or your vote will not be counted.

Request an application at the Town & City Clerk’s office (550 Main Street) Monday – Friday between 9AM – 5PM.

Once you receive and fill out your ballot, return it to the Town & City  Clerk’s office.
