Who We Are
We are Connecticut’s only Black-led education advocacy organization.
We are more than
committed voters in and around our core cities: Bridgeport, Hartford, and New Haven.
Our History
We were founded in 2015 because a group of Bridgeport pastors led by Pastor William McCullough demanded a seat at the table. We must have a voice where decisions are made about our kids and families.
Our Issues
We fight for educational equity so that Black, brown and low-income children can be liberated from generations of systematic oppression, underfunding, and disenfranchisement.
Our Mission, Vision & Values
We are people of faith building power to get our children the education they deserve.
Our People
We are pastors, members, staff members and fellows, united by our belief in every child’s God-given right to an excellent education.
Careers
We create opportunities to learn and lead by joining our growing team.
