As Chief Finance and Operations Officer at FaithActs for Education, Edisha ensures strong financial stewardship and operational excellence that enables the organization’s mission of transforming education through faith-based organizing. Under her leadership, FaithActs has maintained strong fiscal responsibility while maintaining significant community impact.

Born and raised in New Haven, Edisha’s commitment to social justice was shaped by her early experiences in the city. A graduate of Southern Connecticut State University’s School of Business and holder of a Columbia Business School Executive Education certification, she brings sophisticated financial acumen to the service of educational equity.

Before joining FaithActs, Edisha worked across Connecticut and Washington, D.C., collaborating with social advocacy organizations, universities, and charter schools focused on racial equity, health equity, social justice, economic empowerment, social entrepreneurship, and educational enhancements for Black and Brown communities. Her experience as a former AmeriCorps member and NAACP collegiate chapter president deepened her understanding of how strong operational infrastructure can amplify community impact.

At FaithActs, Edisha develops and implements operational processes that maximize the organization’s efficiency while managing financial priorities, planning, risk, and compliance. Her strategic approach to resource allocation ensures that FaithActs can sustain its vital work of organizing faith communities.

As a key member of the leadership team, Edisha’s work embodies FaithActs’ commitment to being excellent stewards of resources while maintaining independence through strategic funding decisions. Her dedication to operational excellence supports the organization’s broader mission of ensuring Black, Brown, and low-income students can fulfill their God-given potential.

Outside of work, Edisha enjoys spending time with family, traveling, fashion, art, cooking shows, and long walks with her Havapoo, Denver.
