Edisha Brandy

As the VP of Operations and Finance, Edisha leads our financial and operational strategies. She develops operational processes to support internal efficiency while managing financial priorities, planning, risk, and compliance.  Before joining FaithActs for Education, Edisha worked in Connecticut and Washington, D.C., in collaboration with social advocacy organizations, universities, and charter schools focused on racial equity, health equity, social justice, economic empowerment, social entrepreneurship, and educational enhancements for Black and Brown communities. She has been committed to improving education outcomes for children in inner cities throughout the northwestern parts of the United States. Working in finance and business operations roles to support social issues, Edisha leads the financial and operational strategy. Edisha is committed to seeking radical change and serves in the organization’s infrastructure as a pledge to that change.

Edisha is a native of New Haven and a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University’s School of Business. She is also a former AmeriCorps member and NAACP collegiate chapter president. Edisha holds a Columbia Business School Executive Education certification from Columbia University.

Outside of work, Edisha enjoys spending time with family, traveling, fashion, art, cooking shows, and long walks with her Havapoo, Denver.
